Reconciled dev_update_v1.96.zsh (with the brew upgrade --greedy-latest fix and embedded Footlights 1.1.0) across all six fleet hosts, standardized all symlink permutations (updatedev.zsh, devupdate.zsh, dev_update.zsh, fleet_update.zsh, fleet_upgrade.zsh) to point to v1.96, and moved legacy v1.94 and v1.95 executables into archive/.

• Hosts: rdmsm4x, rdmbair13m5, rdmbair15m5, jdmbair13m5, rdmpw3265m, rdmpw3275m (all 6 nodes active and reachable).

Rationale

• Earlier today, claude@rdmsm4x revised dev_update_v1.96.zsh on rdmsm4x (192,032 bytes, SHA256 f8dd5416...) to replace --greedy with --greedy-latest, protecting auto_updates true applications (like Google Chrome, 1Password, Slack) from full bundle unlink/replacements that invalidate macOS TCC and Notification Center authorizations.
• However, the spokes still carried the pre-greedy-latest 191,272-byte v1.96 build.
• Furthermore, on all six machines, updatedev.zsh and fleet_update.zsh had remained symlinked to dev_update_v1.94.zsh, creating an execution split where invoking updatedev.zsh executed v1.94 while dev_update.zsh executed v1.96.
• dev_update_v1.94.zsh and dev_update_v1.95.zsh were left loose in ~/dev/scripts/ instead of archived.

Changes Made

1. Canonical Hub (rdmsm4x):
   • Re-pointed symlinks updatedev.zsh, fleet_update.zsh, and fleet_upgrade.zsh to dev_update_v1.96.zsh.
   • Relocated dev_update_v1.94.zsh and dev_update_v1.95.zsh to archive/.
   • Committed changes to git: commit 2782164 (scripts(dev_update): standardize symlinks to v1.96 and archive v1.94/v1.95).
2. Spoke Hosts (rdmbair13m5, rdmbair15m5, jdmbair13m5, rdmpw3265m, rdmpw3275m):
   • Synchronized canonical dev_update_v1.96.zsh (192,032 B, SHA256 f8dd5416...).
   • Standardized uniform symlinks:
     • dev_update.zsh -> dev_update_v1.96.zsh
     • devupdate.zsh -> dev_update_v1.96.zsh
     • updatedev.zsh -> dev_update_v1.96.zsh
     • fleet_update.zsh -> dev_update_v1.96.zsh
     • fleet_upgrade.zsh -> dev_update_v1.96.zsh
     • ~/dev_update.zsh -> /Users/richh/dev/scripts/dev_update.zsh
   • Moved dev_update_v1.94.zsh and dev_update_v1.95.zsh to archive/.
3. Verification:
   • shasum -a 256 verified identical across all 6 machines: f8dd54161554c73c271ef9c96d2c770880d2b5d2361310ce7bad8f152d3f8961.
   • updatedev.zsh --verify-embedded verified exit code 0 across all 6 machines.
   • updatedev.zsh --self-test executed cleanly on rdmbair13m5 (exit 0, 8s, Footlights footer11 verified and retained in scrollback).
