The blocker that stops orchestration

Claude Code is not authenticated on rdmsm4x, rdmpw3265m, or rdmpw3275m (claude -p returns Not logged in · Please run /login), and rdmbair13m5 returns an MCP error rather than a clean state. rdmbair15m5 is the only authenticated host.

Assigning an orchestrator agent on rdmsm4x therefore cannot be done from here — a headless claude -p there exits immediately. /login is interactive and needs a human at that machine.

To unblock, on rdmsm4x: run claude and complete /login. Then the orchestrator can be started. Repeat on rdmpw3265m / rdmpw3275m / rdmbair13m5 for full fleet coverage.

Constraints that must carry forward

permissions.defaultMode is bypassPermissions fleet-wide and is INTENDED. Never script it; live sessions rewrite it and a scripted change is re-asserted within minutes.
Apple Notes needs an Aqua session. launchctl managername must be Aqua; SSH sessions are Background and cannot send AppleEvents. launchctl asuser does not help even with sudo.
dev_update.zsh is shared-write. v2.7 adds a single-run lock — a concurrent run is refused with exit 3 by design.
Never recreate ~/CLAUDE.md — retired by owner decision, content lives in ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md.
