• Changed /Users/richh/.gitconfig mode from 644 to 600.
• Created /Users/richh/.gitconfig.bak-git-sync-20260829-004609.
• Preserved existing GitHub credential-helper entries; no credential, Keychain, auth/session, repository, branch, commit, remote, or .git data moved.
• Homebrew gh 2.98.0 was already present; no installation occurred.
