Deliverables & Remediations

1. FEAT-20260915-05: BitRoo Universal2 WebP Encoder Delivered

• Background: BitRoo needed to serve Tronbyt and bare ESP32+HUB75 displays pulling WebP frames (/<device>/next). macOS ImageIO lacks WebP destination UTIs, and Homebrew's libwebp was arm64-only, violating mandatory universal2 lipo gates (apps/CLAUDE.md §13).
• Architecture:
  • Vendored upstream libwebp 1.6.0 C sources and headers directly under Sources/libwebp/ as a pure SwiftPM C target.
  • Excluded non-source artifacts (Makefile*, *.in, *.rc).
  • Added public headers include/webp/*.h and include/sharpyuv/sharpyuv.h.
  • Implemented BitRooCore/WebPEncoder.swift providing encodeLossless, encodeLossy(quality:), encode, decode, and validateMagicBytes.
  • Extended Frame.webp(_:dwell:lossless:quality:).
• Verification:
  • WebPEncoderTests.swift: Added 4 tests validating RIFF/WEBP magic bytes, zero-pixel mismatch lossless roundtrips (64x32 RGB frame), Frame.webp helper, and corrupted data error handling.
  • Total swift test suite expanded from 27 to 31 tests (100% pass rate in 0.176s).
  • Built BitRoo.app and bitroo CLI via make_app.zsh release. lipo -archs strictly verified x86_64 arm64 for both artifacts.
  • Live execution tested on Intel Mac Pro rdmpw3275m: bitroo binary executed cleanly.
  • Committed to canonical apps/bitROO (commit 1086922) and pushed to all 3 remotes (backup, fleet, origin).
  • Ticket FEAT-20260915-05 marked resolved.

2. ISSUE-20260905-29: Ticket Store Committer Verified & Resolved

• Problem: Ticket store (~/dev/issues) accumulated uncommitted paths across agent writes.
• Verification & Resolution:
  • Verified com.eastcoastscience.ticketcommit LaunchAgent running in production on rdmsm4x: 147 runs recorded with exit code 0.
  • Auto-commits observed committing dirty open/resolved files on 900s interval with credential gates.
  • Formally claimed and resolved ISSUE-20260905-29 in canonical ticket ledger.

3. ISSUE-20260905-34: agent_msg.zsh Untake Marker Defect Resolved

• Problem: Running agent_msg.zsh untake caused untake markers to be resurrected by peer rsync pulls.
• Remediation:
  • Rolled out agent_msg.zsh v1.5.1 (SHA256: 734648e42ec15102ad8ef3b1b53049b779971307cce6e2028e5b279e62d1a2f3) with additive .untaken markers across all online fleet hosts (rdmsm4x, rdmbair15m5, rdmbair13m5, rdmpw3265m, rdmpw3275m).
  • Formally claimed and resolved ISSUE-20260905-34.
