Summary

Upgraded dev_update.zsh to v2.10 and deployed a clean non-AGY copy as ~/dev/scripts/devupdate.zsh across all 6 Mac fleet nodes. Added ~/dev/scripts and ~/scripts to shell startup profiles (~/.zprofile and ~/.zshrc) fleet-wide, enabling direct command-line execution from any working directory. Updated toolchain scripts to dynamically discover, parse, and relay all installed Xcode bundles and builds.

Changes Made

1. Multi-Xcode Bundle Discovery & Relay:

   • dev_update.zsh (v2.10): Updated Section 3 to iterate over all /Applications/Xcode*.app bundles, reading CFBundleShortVersionString from Info.plist and ProductBuildVersion from version.plist, highlighting active developer bundles ([active]), and emitting detailed xcode_bundles entries in dev_update_latest.json.
   • mac_fleet_library_updates.zsh: Updated Section 3 to dynamically parse and list all installed Xcode versions rather than assuming fixed bundle paths.
   • preauthorize_dev_permissions.zsh: Updated Application Firewall registration to dynamically iterate over all /Applications/Xcode*.app bundles for xcodebuild, xctest, lldb, and lldb-rpc-server.
   • probe_host_state.sh: Added ===== XCODE & DEVELOPER TOOLS ===== section reporting active dev directory, active xcodebuild version, CLT package version, and all installed XCODE_BUNDLE versions and builds.

2. Fleet Script Placement & Shell PATH Integration:

   • Created ~/dev/scripts/ directory on all 6 machines.
   • Installed devupdate.zsh (mode 755) and created dev_update.zsh symlink in ~/dev/scripts/.
   • Configured ~/.zprofile and ~/.zshrc on all 6 hosts with export PATH="$HOME/dev/scripts:$HOME/scripts:$PATH" and typeset -U path PATH.
