rdmsm4x-changelog-20260823-1843-joeyroo-app-foundation
JoeyRoo now has a standalone, Git-backed prototype foundation with preserved design assets, matched flat light/dark mockups, privacy-safe seed data, and a ready-to-run PWA implementation plan.
JoeyRoo app foundation
Scope
- Host:
rdmsm4x - Project: JoeyRoo
- Mode: Prototype
- Canonical root:
/Users/richh/dev/apps/joeyroo-app - Git branch:
design/joeyroo-foundation - Foundation commit:
533f3c2193065663e8a466b030dea9091cbeaed8 - Local
mainbranch points to the same foundation commit. - No HTML/PWA application implementation, external account connection, DNS change, deployment, public launch, payment handling, or provider automation occurred.
Changes
- Initialized the standalone Git repository and project-specific
AGENTS.mdin Prototype mode. - Added product, architecture, privacy, visual-direction, session-state, and issue documents.
- Preserved the user-supplied knitted kangaroo reference, approved JoeyRoo icon concept, and three earlier tactile UI studies.
- Added corrected content-matched flat light and dark iPhone home-screen mockups with restrained stitched food badges.
- Added 15 user-curated place records spanning restaurants, farm stands, markets, supermarkets, and a bakery/cafe.
- Performed a read-only local Apple Mail/Notes index scan. Mail UI and Notes UI were not opened; no item was marked read, selected, moved, deleted, or edited.
- Added nine sanitized partial-order fixtures and sanitized Notes-derived signals. No raw message/note, person, address, amount, payment detail, order/account identifier, tracking link, or credential was retained.
- Added a 10-task, test-driven local-first PWA implementation plan at
docs/superpowers/plans/2026-08-23-joeyroo-pwa-foundation.md. - Registered JoeyRoo in the canonical operating
PROJECTS.md. - Updated the active coordination check-in to the user-selected
joeyroo-approot.

Commands and evidence
- Initialized Git with
git init -b main, switched todesign/joeyroo-foundation, committed, and created localmainat the same object. - Validated all three JSON fixtures with
jq -e. - Ran
git diff --cached --checkwith no whitespace errors before commit. - Ran a bounded privacy/secret-pattern scan with no matches outside excluded binary design assets.
- Confirmed no
.emlx,.sqlite,.db,.mbox, or.envprivate-source artifacts exist in the project. - Byte-compared the copied user reference, approved icon, and both final mockups against their retained source files; all four comparisons matched.
- Validated the reference/icon/mockup formats and dimensions: reference 1024×1024 JPEG, icon 1254×1254 PNG, light and dark mockups 853×1844 PNG.
- Validated the implementation plan contains 10 tasks and no placeholder markers.
- Confirmed the operating
PROJECTS.mdcontains the JoeyRoo record and the coordination check-in points to/Users/richh/dev/apps/joeyroo-app. - Final project Git status after commit was clean on
design/joeyroo-foundation.
Preserved sources and rollback
- The original user attachment remains under the Codex attachment
path; generated-image originals remain under
~/.codex/generated_images/. - The project is a new repository, so rollback is non-destructive: retain the root, move both local branch names to a reviewed earlier object if future commits need reversal, or archive the entire new root after recording its commit and hashes.
- The canonical
PROJECTS.mdaddition can be removed with a focused patch if the project is intentionally retired; do not delete private-source applications or data.
Outstanding owner decisions
- Review the paired flat light/dark mockups and request any visual refinements.
- Confirm
Kumisoidentity/spelling and whetherShop & Stopshould display asStop & Shop. - Assign curated places to
18A,14E, or both. - Approve inline execution of the PWA-foundation plan or explicitly request delegated/subagent execution.
- Backend/auth, expiring guest links, receipt ingestion, provider availability adapters, and native SwiftUI enhancements remain separate future decisions.
