• Commands run: read-only Terminal AppleScript counts; read-only System Events inspection of the Window menu; System Events click of Terminal.app Window > Merge All Windows; post-change Terminal and System Events counts.
• Change: merged 12 separately displayed Terminal windows into one native tabbed Terminal window.
• Verification: before, Terminal reported 12 tabs and 12 busy tabs; after, Terminal still reported 12 tabs and 12 busy tabs. System Events reported one displayed Terminal window, and Merge All Windows was disabled because no additional displayed windows remained.
• Session preservation: no terminal was closed, no application was quit, and no command or keystroke was sent to any terminal session.
• Backup: none required; this was a non-destructive UI-layout change with no terminal content mutation.
• Undo: in Terminal.app, select a tab and use Window > Move Tab to New Window for each tab that should be detached.
