Created three RTTy dinosaur icon concepts so Rich can compare dot fields, packet trails, and flowing dot waves.

Scope: rdmsm4x only; design exploration in /Users/richh/Documents/Codex/2026-09-10/bu/outputs/rtty-icon-concepts. No application/source/installed icon changes.

Method: built-in image_gen editing tool, one edit per concept using the user-provided reference; cp -n to preserve generated originals. Metadata checks with sips -g pixelWidth -g pixelHeight; shasum -a 256; Python PNG-header, copy-hash, and HTML-reference checks. Each image is 1254 x 1254. Three generated concepts visually inspected in tool output: the dinosaur silhouette, white grid, eye, pose, and diagonal dark details remain recognizable. Dot Trails recommended for clarity and motion. No final selection assumed.

Verification limitation: browser URL policy rejected the local file URL, so the HTML comparison was checked statically and was not visually browser-tested. No workaround was attempted. Images were visually inspected directly.

Backups: generated originals retained in /Users/richh/.codex/generated_images/01a08c56-354e-7122-b7f8-2120ec3441fc. Undo: remove only this task's output directory and optional review archive; no app rollback required.

Pending owner action: choose a direction if refinement is desired. Resume: Refine RTTy's dinosaur Dot Trails concept from this task, preserving the original dinosaur.

Apple Notes status: pending. The bounded AppleScript write attempt returned 'iCloud Notes account unavailable'; no note creation was claimed. The durable file archive is saved. Retry when the intended Notes account is available.

Follow-up 2026-09-10 13:31 America/New_York: previous Notes pending state resolved. Account metadata revealed the iCloud account is named for its email address. Created and read back the original concept note in Notes / rdmsm4x. Prior pending statement is historical.
