Made Rich's new GitHub/Copilot install the fleet baseline, enforced it on all six Macs, and fixed the git identity GitHub Desktop had changed.

• Git identity: rdmsm4x rdevnull0 [email protected] → richhdoty. GitHub Desktop's Welcome "Configure Git" step changed it at 18:08 EDT. rdmbair15m5 and rdmpw3265m changed from richh → richhdoty. Backups at ~/.gitconfig.bak-fleetgh-.
  • About 160 commits in 17 repos between 18:08 and 22:19 carry the rdevnull0 author. Every GitHub remote is private, so history was not rewritten.
• Copilot CLI context: sync_fleet_knowledge.zsh v1.2 adds ~/.copilot/copilot-instructions.md (the FLEET pointer). copilot instruction list loads it on 6/6; with the file moved away it lists nothing.
• Copilot moves trustedFolders from settings.json into its own config.json on launch. The script accepts either file; tested both ways.
• New script: fleet/maintenance/scripts/fleet_github_tools.zsh v1.0 (idempotent, --dry-run, --host). Commit e247d1b.
• Verified: second run 42 PASS / 0 CHANGED / 0 WARN on 6/6; FLEET.md sha 3497f4e5dd47d938 on 6/6.
• Ticket TASK-20260923-04 resolved. Memory: github-desktop-rewrites-gitconfig.md.
• Only a person can do: sign in to Desktop, the Copilot app and Copilot for Xcode, and run copilot login, on each Mac; turn on the Copilot for Xcode Source Editor extension and give it Accessibility.
• Undo: restore ~/.gitconfig.bak-fleetgh- or ~/.copilot/settings.json.bak-fleetgh-, run brew uninstall --cask <cask>, and git revert e247d1b.
