Implemented acceptance

B1: Generic SectionStyleMenu<Style: CaseIterable & Identifiable & Hashable> in the existing ChartBoardStyle.swift implements a compact section-title menu, checkmarked selection, and Using-style summary. The flows chart title selects Area/Spline/Stacked/Heatmap through a binding to the existing graph; the 1×/2× size picker remains. The segmented graph-style control is removed; standalone embeddings use the same menu. The flows table title selects Line/Area/Bars/Heatmap for all History sparklines through ApplicationFlowHistoryStyle, default Line, persisted at appearance.applicationFlowsTableHistoryStyle. Each mode has distinct canvas geometry and is verified with deterministic off-screen renders.
B2: Targets header is INDIVIDUAL NETWORK CHECKS · SYNTHETIC TESTS; module label is Individual network checks. The original column header row stays. Its shared menu offers exactly Automatic/Line/Stepped/Area/Bars/Heatmap, drives every row's PathHistoryView, and persists at appearance.targetsHistoryStyle. Default Automatic preserves the previous global-style/registry resolution. The targets section works in both channels; flows headers and bodies retain the existing Direct-only gate.
B3: Application, Down, Up and Total table headers are buttons with ▲/▼ for the active column, a pointing-hand hover cursor, and sorted-by accessibility text. Repeated click flips direction; a new numeric column descends and name ascends. Default Down descending. appearance.applicationFlowsTableSort stores column and direction together; malformed values fall back to the default. Sorting operates only on the table's existing visible row set; chart ranking, history projection, colour slots and selection remain unchanged. Equal keys preserve input order. Total sorts the displayed sum of down/up rates. History is not sortable.
B4: The existing grouping choice, help text and binding move to the graph title row immediately before All Applications Flow and its Multi-App badge. Grouping is absent from the controls bar. The icon continues to reflect grouped/raw state and retains the existing store persistence. No new grouping preference or attribution rule was introduced.
Both feature matrices updated and byte-identical. No source file added, no protected path changed, no prohibited API introduced. The existing accessibility string Process grouping moves with its control; aggregate forbidden-word occurrence counts are unchanged. See slice-b-scope-audit.txt.

Exact final build and test commands

All commands ran with cwd /Users/richh/dev/_scratch/rtty-dashboard-523-20260924. All final commands below exited 0. Build/test execution used the authorized host context because SwiftPM's nested manifest sandbox is unavailable under the restricted harness; no host security setting was changed.

DashboardFitTests retains all five cases, including 1440×900 / 1440×1200 / 1150×1500, both channels and the doubled chart. ApplicationFlowsControlsTests retains its original cases, measures the replacement compact menu against 856pt, and adds title-row grouping placement. The new suite covers all three preference keys, every sort column/direction and stable ties, click direction transitions, invalid preferences, target title/choices, three menu call sites and channel gates, and four distinct History renders.

Deviations and clarifications

The spec calls Down-descending today's order, but the base helper orders by total rate. Implemented the explicit requested default, Down descending, only in the table. The chart and candidate-row selection retain their existing total-rate order. No change to the number or membership of visible rows was requested or made.
The three new persisted keys are the two History styles and table sort. The chart's section style remains view state, as its previous segmented selection was; no unrequested fourth persistence key was added. Automatic target history intentionally preserves today's global-style resolution rather than silently changing existing appearance.
Placement verification: SwiftUI's off-screen hierarchy is not directly walkable with the existing test harness. Following the repository's existing source-guard pattern, the test asserts the real graph title-row placement and its absence from the real controls bar, checks the actual grouping binding, and measures the title-row controls' intrinsic width. Existing flow-control render tests and full dashboard fit tests remain green. This is not a claim of installed UI click/hover acceptance.
Initial run found three test-expectation failures, all corrected: two existing source guards named the replaced Picker/Text spellings; their assertions now name the actual menu and retain transition/channel coverage. The new title-width test initially allowed its text to compress under a zero-width proposal; it now measures intrinsic size with fixedSize(). slice-b-tests-initial.log retains that run; the final full run supersedes it.
Build invocation: reused Slice A's dedicated writable module caches and Standard DerivedData, with the spec-permitted -derivedDataPath addition. Initial sandboxed build reported sandbox-exec: sandbox_apply: Operation not permitted; authorized builds succeeded. No scripts, source-registration files, pins or release metadata were edited.

What was not verified

Installed-product visual and interaction acceptance remains with the lead, including Space Blue/Light appearance, actual mouse clicks/hover, and the signed installed app's persistence. Screenshots were not required by this spec. Off-screen rendering and source/persistence/layout tests are verified here.
Seven opt-in live-network tests skipped because RTTY_LIVE_NETWORK_TESTS=1 was not set. One Keychain data-protection test skipped because the ad-hoc test binary lacks an application-identifier entitlement. Exact reasons remain in the full test log.
No Rosetta test execution, signed/notarized release, full release QA script, App Store archive, deployment, or push. Standard's unsigned binary does contain both architectures.
Coordination preflight reported an existing historical backlog of unacknowledged HIGH messages. The assigned isolated scope was recorded in the local check-in; no unrelated fleet work or ticket completion is claimed. Canonical shared project/release records remain under the lead's ownership.

Persistence and rollback

Handback, patch, full logs and audit: /Users/richh/dev/_handoff/rtty-dashboard-523-20260924-codex. Undo this isolated code change with git revert 812862b2afe786893b3f185285e856ca557bd212. Tests use disposable UserDefaults suites; no installed data or preferences were changed. No data migration/deletion was introduced. The lead retains integration and release ownership. Slice C remains untouched.
