logTTY registration, reviewed overnight merge, and default-off recovered evidence

Scope: rdmsm4x only. Registered logtty/lgty0926, merged overnight review to main cef9f27, preserved 62 recovered files and integrated 59 behind default-off flag on an unmerged review branch. EPIC-20260926-07.

Evidence: main 290 tests/43 suites. Recovery final OFF 290/43; ON 669/80, zero failures. Both modes app/helper universal2. FTS regression reproduced before fix 11f0bf9 and passes after. Implementation 16df266; default flag OFF excludes recovered targets and experimental app path. Report contains full logs and merge remote-SHA receipt. No installation or fleet deployment, no user-data migration, no purchase.

Safety incident ISSUE-20260926-35: inherited rate-meter erase test used default user LiveEvidence.sqlite3 during initial suites before discovery. Existing-row loss cannot be ruled out; no pre-run row snapshot. Fixed in 8a882d3 to isolated temporary DB. No claim of restored data. No restoration or overwrite attempted.

Preservation/rollback: originals remain untouched in ~/dev/_fleet-intake-20260831/rdmbair15m5/apps/LogTTY and hash-preserved under branch Recovery/rdmbair15m5-20260831/originals/. Branches/worktrees retained. Leave LOGTTY_RECOVERED_FEATURES unset for default behavior. Main can be reverted by normal merge revert with parent 1, not history rewriting. Registry changes are additive rows; revert only their exact row if needed. No recovery copy or user store should be deleted.

Owner actions: none needed for scoped engineering delivery. Branch remains for review, never merged. Apple Notes publication pending because launchctl managername reports Background; file archive is saved, Notes success is not claimed.
