Preservation and rollback
Phase-one bede5fc7d73e1d9be6e618764871cc63c3f1a546 retained. Revert follow-up commits in reverse order to undo source changes; retain all handoff artifacts/logs. No deployed app replacement or user-data migration to roll back. Temporary Xcode swap restored and installed525 resumed. Notes publisher creates one new note and never edits/deletes an old note.
