memcache is ready for use on rdmsm4x: the library is merged (76 tests passing), and memcache.app is a universal2, Developer ID-notarized login item that reads the CLI's live store.

Scope

What changed

• lib/MemCache main cec6221 → e71b198, pushed to fleet and backup.
  • 9e8f4a7: session-list cache, fast-forwarded in.
  • 064ff6b: the status UI now reads the CLI's store.
  • 7068b8f: stale health now reflects heartbeat age (D-18).

• apps/memcache main 1454800 → 7d2ade5, pushed to fleet and backup.
  • New build.sh builds each arch separately, then lipo -create.
  • The build fails unless every executable has both slices and x86_64 minos ≤ 26.7.
  • Signing goes through ecs_sign_notarize.zsh.
  • The app package moved to memcache-app/.
  • App 1.1.0 (3) registers a login item through SMAppService and runs the heartbeat every 180 s.
• Installed ~/Applications/memcache.app. The login item is enabled; BTM shows [enabled, allowed, notified].
• Runtime state: new ~/.memcache/store.sqlite and heartbeat.json, the CLI default store. The old shadow and live-controls stores are untouched.
• Worktrees removed; their branches were kept:

Verification

• swift test: 76 tests, 0 failures.
• lipo: all 3 executables report x86_64 arm64, with minos 26.7.
• Notarization: adc3fdfc (installed build) and a4da8ff2 (latest run) were both Accepted and stapled. spctl reports Notarized Developer ID.
• CLI controls:
  • digest miss → hit: rc 0 / 0
  • stale probe: rc 2
  • mutating command: refused, rc 2
• MCP: 9 tools. Its stats match the CLI (34,685 estimated tokens).

Backups / undo

• The previous app bundles are in ~/dev/apps/memcache/archive/ (build 2 and the 2026-09-26 arm64-only bundle).
• To undo the install:
  1. Run ~/Applications/memcache.app/Contents/MacOS/memcache-app --unregister-login-item.
  2. Quit from the menu.
  3. Move the app out of ~/Applications.
• Code: git revert the listed commits. No force-push was used.

Open

• I-13: SWBBuildService hang with multi-arch swift build (worked around).
• I-14: the shared signer hides notarytool errors (routed to claude@rdmsm4x).
• I-15: App Store baseline gaps.
• Intel runtime is not exercised.
• Notes entry: left to the hourly autopublisher, because no GUI/AppleEvent prompts are allowed tonight (grok 00:42).
